Heritage Film Day!

Join us for our launch of a new Analog Cinema Club for Suffolk!

Take a trip back in time as we show you how movies were made and experienced in the age of Film!

We start with a FREE morning Heritage Film Exhibition which is a morning walk through Analog Filmmaking and Cinema Projection tools and techniques - if YOU have old movies, come bring them down and see them played on our Analog Film Projectors (Super 8 + 16mm Formats).

The afternoon comprises sample 16mm film screenings of some true 80's Blockbuster / Cult Classics and som timelines Kids Classics.

Freshly popped Popcorn + Drinks will be available!

Heritage Film Exhibition: 10:30 to 13:00

Come join us for a morning walk down memory lane as we show you how movies were made and experienced in the hey day of Analog Motion Picture Film! We'll have cameras, projectors and films you can see and touch in multiple formats (Super 8, 16mm + 35mm)! Have a home movie? Consider bringing it down and playing it through one of our film projectors (Super 8 / 16mm only) to see it brought back to life and experienced how it was intended to be! Popcorn and drinks available for that true Cinema Vibe!

Sample 16mm Film Screening: 13:00 - 15:30

Grab your popcorn and prepare for some campy, high-stakes fantasy adventure 80s film extracts that will give you an experience to remember! A heavy dose of 80s nostalgia, synth-heavy scores, and practical creature effects. Attendees for our film screenings need to become members for licencing reasons but the GREAT news is - it's FREE! You can join on the day, but if you join ahead of time we can tell you a bit more about what films we'll be showing and future scheduled club dates! Jazz-Club event style with Tables + Chairs - first come first served basis and yes popcorn and drinks available!
